Overview
Screenflick for Mac is focused on providing high performance, reliable audio and video screen capture, that's used by consumers and professionals around the world. Whether you're recording a software training session, video chats, demo of your app or website, a play session of the latest 3d game, or anything at all that's on your screen, the app is the tool to use. Whatever you need, Screenflick can do it.
Features and Highlights
Friendly Streamlined Interface
Screenflick can tap into user events like key presses and mouse clicks and highlight them in the movies you create. This is extremely useful for training videos and video podcasts, or wherever you use keyboard shortcuts that are important to display to your viewers. And of course, their appearance is customizable.
One-Click Audio Recording
Silent movies are a thing of the past. Screenflick captures live audio from the microphone (or any other audio device) of your choice and all audio playing on your Mac. It's as easy as clicking one checkbox. When exporting movies from the tool, you also have the option to exclude the audio from the movie being created.
Capture Liquid Smooth Recordings
Screenflick for macOS contains a highly tuned recording engine which can capture very large resolutions at high speed and high quality. By taking advantage of the pixel-hungry graphics processor and multiple processor cores, the app attains outstanding performance when recording even the most demanding applications on your Mac.
Remotely Control
Use the app Remote to control the app running on your Mac. Using the remote, you can start a recording, pause, resume, and stop, all without the app interface being visible in your final recording. You can even control the tool running on multiple Macs at the same time!
Smile! You're on Camera!
Record from your built-in FaceTime camera (or any other connected video camera) and the app can overlay the video on top of your screen recording, at the size and position you choose. Now viewers can see you explain that feature in software training movies, or watch your reaction when a horde of the undead begin attacking in your gameplay recordings.
Beyond What's On-Screen
Screenflick can tap into user events like key presses and mouse clicks and clearly display them in the movies you create. This is extremely useful for training videos and video podcasts, where it's important to display to your viewers the keyboard shortcuts used in various applications. And of course, their appearance is customizable so you can give it your own touch.
Record Once, Export Again and Again
One of the major unique features in the tool is the ability to export the original full-quality movie multiple times with different scales, qualities, and file formats, unlike other applications which record directly to a final movie format, which can negatively impact recording performance and sacrifice video quality. Using Screen flick, record a movie once and create small low quality movies, large high quality movies, and even export to different file formats, without having to use another program.
Note: The demo version watermarks output video and limits the recording sessions to 1 minute. Requires 64-bit processor.
