Overview
AWS SDK for Java is a cloud-focused SDK package that is aimed to provide talented developers with all the tools necessary to infuse their Java software with all the necessary Application Programming Interfaces (API) calls in order to establish a fast, reliable and secure connection with Amazon Web Services, the worlds largest provider of cloud-based server infrastructure.
By having the capability to connect Java applications to the powerful Amazon cloud, enthusiasts and businesses projects of all sizes can dramatically expand their reach, becoming accessible to the worldwide population without the need to move away from Java applications that some projects simply cannot afford to replace.
Developed by Amazon.com, Inc. to help large worldwide programmer communities to more easily connect to AWS, AWS SDK for Java provides everyone with several key features such as Nonblocking I/O, Automatic pagination, HTTP/2 Support, and pluggable HTTP layer. Described most simply, Java applications can send their data and master key through AWS SDK for Java, where they will be signed by the secure Key Generator with their Envelope Key, enabling outgoing data stream to travel through the internet infrastructure fully encrypted, with decryption being only possible on the Amazon cloud platforms such as Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon EC2.
In addition to the core SDK tools and their various necessary components (such as libraries and dependencies), AWS SDK for Java also features a wide array of documentation and guides that can help programmers quickly learn all procedures for enabling their Java apps to establish a connection to the Amazons cloud infrastructure. This includes an in-depth Developer Guide, Java API Reference Guide, SDK Code Examples, and AWS SDK for Java 2.x Migration Guide.
AWS SDK for Java is 100% FREE and can be downloaded and used on any modern version of Windows OS.
