Overview

With ASUS Fan Xpert, the user can adjust the setting of the CPU and housing fan to achieve the best heat dissipation performance. The ASUS Fan Xpert also supports a combined hard PWM/DC mode for CPU and housing fans. You can also reduce the speed of the CPU fan to a minimal noise level during light use.

How to use
  1. Click the screen to select the type of fan that you want to customize
  2. Click to switch between CPU and chassis fan screens
  3. Click to maximize the fan speed
  4. Click to increase the fan speed for a high cooling capability
  5. Click to set the balanced configuration between the fan’s noise level and speed
  6. Click to set the fan’s speed to silent mode
Smart Mode allows you to customize the fan's rotation speeds and responsiveness based on your system's temperature.
  1. Tick to set up the CPU fan mode
  2. Click and drag to set the fan's rotation speed
  3. Click and drag the sliders to adjust the fan's responsiveness
  4. Click to switch between the CPU and chassis fan screens
  5. Click to undo the changes
  6. Click to apply the changes
RPM Mode allows you to set up the fan speed when the CPU temperature is below 75℃.
  1. Tick to set the Chassis fan's mode
  2. Click and drag to set the fan's rotation speed
  3. Click and drag the sliders to adjust the fan's responsiveness
  4. Click to switch between the CPU and chassis fan screens
  5. Click to select different thermal sensors onboard for the chassis fan's speed control
  6. Click to undo the changes
  7. Click to apply the changes
