Overview
ClickMonitorDDC is a lightweight system utility that can help PC users quickly and accurately modify the brightness and contrast values of their DDC-compatible monitors straight from the app located in their taskbar. While modern monitors all support the easy calibration of display characteristics, those tools are often hidden away several clicks away in the monitor driver configuration application that in some cases requires a dozen seconds of waiting until it is fully loaded and shown on screen.
On the other hand, this incredibly small and fast application can be accessed in a single click and can even reliably switch brightness and contrast values using user-defined keyboard shortcuts!
PC users like to take full control over all hardware that is available to them. This, of course, extends to their monitors, which often come with factory settings that are not optimized perfectly for all types of home and professional users such as getting the eyestrain-free productivity visuals, or precisely tuning the display for mastering, coloring, or video editing projects. ClickMonitorDDC enables users to set their predefined templates that can be recalled with a keyboard shortcut or have easily accessible brightness and contrast bars by simply clicking on the app tray icon.
The user interface of ClickMonitorDDC features just a single pop-up window that features three vertical bars – brightness, contrast, and system audio volume (this third one represents an addon that can be turned off if the user wishes so). In addition to tweaking bar values by mouse drag and drop function, all bars also feature an array of buttons ranked between 0 and 100 in a step of 5, for quick selection of offered values.
The top of the window features the currently set values for the selected monitor. Customization options include the ability to start with Windows OS, to include a volume slider, and a welcomed option to synchronize brightness and contrast values on all currently detected monitors. Hotkeys and preset color customization options are also available.

The app is distributed online as a sub-megabyte application that features its own automated installer and uninstaller and is optimized to work only on several last modern versions of Windows OS (7, 8, and 10, both 32-bit and 64-bit).
