Overview
If you have accounts on Microsoft Outlook, then you can synchronize the information on those accounts with the information on your Google Apps. To do this, you need to download and install an add-on called now Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook GWSMO (formerly G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook) . The apps that are compatible include Notes, Tasks, Address Book, Mail, Contacts, and Calendar. The tool is easy to manage with its straightforward and simple options.
Sadly, G Suite Sync - GSSMO is not compatible with personal Gmail accounts. Your Google Apps account must only be used for government, business, or educational purposes only.
Simple to Setup
It does not take much time to set up this tool on your computer. The installation wizard will guide you through the steps. The only requirement is that you have Microsoft Outlook installed first. Then you can install the add-on.
After that installation is complete, your taskbar notifications area will have a little icon for G Suite Sync. Just click on the icon to access G Suite Sync whenever you need it. You will hardly notice it is there, so it shouldn’t interfere with your work at all.
Synchronize Data
The data on Microsoft Outlook and Google Apps can be synchronized. Use your Google account credentials to log into the tool. You can have the tool to remember your login information so that you won’t need to enter it again. Now, whenever you create data on your Microsoft Outlook accounts, it gets copied to your Google account automatically.
The integration and synchronization between Outlook and GWSMO software happen immediately after the add-on is installed and executed. You have the option to turn off the automated startup synchronization for all services or certain services that you choose.

After we tested out Google Workspace Sync for Microsoft Outlook, there were no error messages or crashes. It didn’t even seem to use that much RAM or system resources either. Therefore, GSSMO seems like a great addition for automatically synchronizing information between Microsoft Outlook and Google. Say goodbye to those old-fashioned POP and IMAP products. They are no longer needed.
