Overview
King's Raid is a free-to-play side-scrolling RPG game that promotes the collection of fantasy characters that can be used in a wide array of competitive PvP and cooperative Raid modes. Developed by the South Korean developer Vespa, this popular real-time 3D battle game achieved international game when it was released in the west in early 2017.
One of the main features that ensured its popularity was its progression system that did not leverage the popular gacha mechanic in which users were forced to sacrifice their characters in order to level other heroes up. Instead of that, users are given the ability to create their party of heroes, upgrade them however they want, and engage in competitive and cooperative battles with other players.
The story of King’s Raid for Windows PC is set in an original fantasy universe, on a continent called Orbis. The main player is placed into the role of a young knight Kasel, who goes on an adventure to solve the mystery of his brother’s disappearance. During the course of this campaign, he comes in contact with numerous characters (who can be playable heroes in the game).
Since the original release, the world of King’s Raid was expanded several times with downloadable events and expansions. One of such recently released expansions is Chapter X: Rebellion. Set in the land of the lost civilization of Technomagic Kingdom, this free update introduces a large roster of new characters, costumes, higher level-cap, several new raids, and powerful epic gear.

The playable heroes in King’s Raid game are separated into seven distinct classes (knight, wizard, assassin, warrior, archer, mechanic, and priest). They all have two types of attacks (one physical and one magical), a wide array of stats, equipment slots, and ample space to be upgraded to serve a specific battle role. The main party consists of four characters, who during battles are placed on three main battle lines – front, middle, and back. In some special game modes such as Raids against powerful bosses, the party roster can be expanded to up to 8 heroes (however, the player then still retains control over just 4 heroes, the rest are AI-controlled).
While King’s Raid has not officially received a standalone PC version, but that does mean that Windows 11/10 gamers from all around the world cannot enjoy this engaging F2P RPG title with eye-catching real-time 3D battles and an innovative character upgrade system. The game can be played on modern desktops and laptops with the help of the BlueStacks Android emulator that has full support for 3D accelerated rendering, high rendering resolution, networking, customized controls, and even advanced macro and sync features.
